Joe Heidler, Jr.
President (Retired), 1969 - 2005
In November 1959, Joseph Heidler, Sr. started Heidler Roofing and convinced his 25-year-old son, Joe Jr., to join him in fulfilling his dream. Together they started building Heidler Roofing, one crew at a time. Over the years, father and son worked closely together – Joe Sr. did the selling while Joe Jr. did the estimating and also acted as the company Superintendent.
In 1969, the position of President was passed on to Joe Jr. Throughout his years of leadership, Joe Jr. expanded the business, opening Red Rose Roofing with his son Joe Heidler, III in Lancaster, PA and Master Roofers with his brother, Mike, in York, PA and Hagerstown, MD.
After more than 46 years of service to the family business, Joe Jr. retired in 2005. Heidler Roofing would not be what it is today without Joe’s lifelong dedication to his customers and the roofing industry.
